NeRFs!

I spent some time with the LumaAI app the other day capturing NeRFs (Neural Radiance Fields) of cameras from my collection. I used my iPhone 12 Pro for the captures. The models came out a little chunky, but it was WAY faster than a traditional photogrammetry workflow. Next time, I’ll use a camera with better resolution and maybe try some drone captures of larger scenes to see what results I get.

This technology is very exciting and I’m sure it’s only going to get better. Here is a link to a good article explaining the science.
